If you are a streamer or content creator and use capture cards to record your gameplay footage, this means you are unable to use the higher refresh rates of these monitors. Here is a solution.

The output on your monitor connected with a DisplayPort to your graphics card will be the exact same as the output of the HDMI cable connected to the capture card. The difference between the two displays will be the refresh rate of the output.

Change the output of the monitor to the correct refresh rate

In the display settings in the Windows settings, you can find the advanced display settings. These settings allow you to change the resolution and refresh rate to the correct resolution and refresh rate of your monitor. Some high refresh rate monitor require the installation of a separate driver or software.
